Fun Science Activities

Watch the butterflies! Lots of butterflies are out this time of year. Go to a grassy area with flowers and sit down with crayons and paper. As you see different butterflies, draw them on paper. Later you can go to the library and find out what kind of butterflies they were!

Be a chemistry chef with food! Experiment with food items in your kitchen. What happens when you mix oil and water? How about baking soda and vinegar? Try different combinations and see what happens. Make sure you have an adult watching you! Don't do any mixing without permission.
