The Martin Morning Show

A. J. Martin starts each day with the Martin Morning Show over live TV. Fourth grade dedicated students participate in the success of the Morning Show. These students applied, received recommendations, auditioned and were selected to fill the positions of newscasters, pledge directors and technical crew members.

     The student newscasters take on the role as an anchor in opening and closing the broadcast. They present student announcements, results of CCC lab contests, special events, lunch menu, current date and Every Day Counts day. They also introduce the pledge helpers.

     The technical crew and pledge directors are “behind the scenes” students who carry out the details in order for the broadcasting to run smoothly.

     Our Martin Morning Show spotlights math concepts, guest authors, advertisements for student recognition for special accomplishments, school-wide theme, proper dress code, behavior, integration of content curriculum, TAKS test taking tips, etc.
