General Payroll Info
Paychecks will not be released to any person
other than the district employee named on the check without the
employee's written authorization.
Paychecks are issued on the 15th and the last
day of the month. If the 15th or last day of the month
falls on a weekend, payday will be the preceding Friday.
Paychecks During The School Year
Paychecks are delivered to each
campus/department during the school year.
Employee's on medical leave, substitute teachers
or resigned employee's will receive their paychecks in the mail.
Paychecks are mailed one (1) day prior to payday.
If a paycheck has not been received in the mail
five (5) business days after payday, a stop payment will be placed
on the check. The replacement check must be picked up in the
payroll office.
Paychecks During The Summer
During summer break, all paychecks will be
mailed to the employee's home address two (2) days prior to
payday with the exception of the departments required to work year
round.
If a paycheck has not been received in the mail
(5) business days after payday, a stop payment will be placed on
the check. The replacement check must be picked up in the
payroll office.
Exception To Five (5) Business Day Policy
If you choose, you may request your replacement check earlier than
the required five (5) business days. There will be a twenty
five ($25) dollar fee charged and taken from your replacement
check to cover stop payment fees. Contact the payroll office
at extension 2300 or 2290 if you choose this option.
Paycheck Stubs
Please keep all paycheck stubs in a safe place.
There will be a two ($2) replacement fee for each paycheck stub
requested.
W-2 Information
W-2's will be distributed by January 31 each
year. Please keep all W-2's in a safe place. There
will be a five ($5) dollar fee charged for each replacement W-2
requested.
Resignations/Terminations
Employees who resign from the district will be paid
for any time earned according to the regularly scheduled payrolls.
Employees that are fired from the district will be paid no later
than the sixth day after termination. |
