Alief Independent School District
requires that you complete the
Conflict of Interest Questionnaire
(Form CIQ) and recommends that you become familiar with House Bill
914 which applies to:

Business and
individuals who contract with Alief ISD |
| Businesses and
individuals who seek to contract with Alief ISD
(regardless of whether a bidder
is awarded or not) |
| Agents who represent
such businesses in their business dealings with Alief
ISD |
A copy of the new law
is available at
hb914 . Alief Independent School District will not provide any
further interpretation or information regarding HB 914.
The law requires that
you file an updated completed questionnaire with the appropriate
filing authority not later than September 1 of the year for which an
activity described in Section 176.006(a), Local Government Code, is
pending and not later than the 7th business day after the date the
originally filed questionnaire becomes imcomplete or inaccurate
If you have any
questions about compliance, please consult your own legal counsel.
Compliance is the individual responsibility of each individual,
business, and agent who is subject to the law's filing requirement.
Completed Questionnaires will be uploaded to Alief ISD Purchasing
Department Web Site.
